How far is south Nashville from Wartrace?
Antioch is about 48.9 miles and 59 minutes away, by I-24 to Hickory Hollow Pkwy. The Nolensville Pike corridor runs a little longer, 54.7 miles and around 65 minutes, by I-24 and SR-155. Those two are what we mean by southern Nashville, the south side of Davidson County, and it was one of the areas the old Bush’s site listed.
What the Census says about Nashville housing
For Nashville-Davidson, the part of the county under Metro government outside its smaller incorporated cities, the Census Bureau’s 2020–2024 estimates give a median year built of 1987, with 690,130 people and 4,725 mobile homes among 344,794 housing units, about 1 percent. Those are countywide numbers, not Antioch’s alone, so they say more about the range than about any one street. A 1987 median sits between Wartrace’s 1962 and Murfreesboro’s 2002.
In a house from the late 1980s, the heat pump or furnace there now is probably not the first one, and the ducts deserve a look whenever it’s replaced. New equipment hooked to leaky ductwork never quite delivers what it should, so a system replacement there is a good moment for duct repair too. For a converted garage or an addition, a ductless mini split is often the cleaner route.
The hour each way, and what it means for a call
We’re open 8 AM to 8 PM every day, and an hour’s drive is part of every south Nashville call, so it helps to describe what the system is doing when you phone. Misti T.’s review shows why parts matter at a distance. Tyler, she wrote, ordered the replacement part and even expedited the shipping because he didn’t want us to be stuck in the Tennessee heat during the normal 7-10 day wait.
For a system that has stopped, the AC and heating repair page covers what a visit involves.
