A new system inside a day
Rachel R. called with a system leaking through her garage. On her Google review: “He came out same day, and a full new system was installed within 24 hours.” The owner’s reply was short and warm — “Thanks Rachel! It’s always a pleasure!” — which is about how the business talks.
Not every install moves that fast, since it depends on the equipment being on hand, but it shows what can happen when a system fails outright.
Repair or replace?
ENERGY STAR’s guidance on replacing heating and cooling equipment suggests weighing a new heat pump or air conditioner once yours is more than ten years old, and a furnace past fifteen. Age is where the conversation starts, not where it ends. A sound system with one failed part gets the part: coil and blower motor replacements are on our service list for exactly that reason.
The case for replacing is a unit that keeps losing refrigerant, keeps breaking, or never cooled the house properly in the first place. If yours is younger and the trouble is a single component, see AC and heating repair.
What goes in
Split systems and heat pumps for houses, and commercial equipment for businesses. Our Google profile shows a split-system condenser on a pad beside a red-brick ranch with a painted block foundation, and a Mitsubishi Electric multi-zone unit against a white-brick wall. Where a house has no ducts to speak of, a ductless mini split may be the better replacement.
We’re particular about equipment. Misti T. wrote that Tyler “explained that Bush’s Mechanical doesn’t normally stock that particular brand because they don’t trust its reliability.” Ask on the call which brand we’d put in your house and why.
Getting a price
A replacement is priced on the house: its size, the equipment that suits it, and what the old pad, line set and ducts need. Call (615) 995-2682 from 8 AM to 8 PM, or send the estimate form with the square footage and the age of the system you have now.
